Strategic Account Manager

The Account Manager is vital in maintaining and expanding customer relationships for our business. For ‘sole supply’ and ‘multi-bid’ customers, you are responsible for understanding and meeting customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty while identifying opportunities for growth. This role involves contributing to the success of the Account Management department through management of your own customers and collaborating with the wider team to deliver high quality reporting, analysis, and resulting recommendations and best practice to support the retention and growth of our customer base.

Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Developing strong relationships with your customers to achieve individual objectives and targets against the Account Management plan.
  • Acting as the main point of contact, you will be the ‘Key Interface’ in delivering against the customer service agreement and defining the customer needs and objectives and JCT600 VLS’s ability to meet those needs through our products and services.
  • Organising and attending regular review meetings with your customers providing them with a review pack, ensuring information sources and accurate records of conversations and correspondence, including the updating of systems is always maintained.
  • Serving as the liaison between the customer and JCT600 VLS in regard to achieving objectives for orders, escalating any roadblocks to securing business and closing deals in the above-mentioned products and services, ensuring the highest standard of courtesy and integrity when interacting with customers.
  • Securing all available vehicle orders from Sole Supply customers and to increase JCT600 VLS share of business from those customers who use multiple suppliers, endeavouring to move them to sole supply with JCT600 VLS.
  • Fully understanding vehicle funding and management solutions and the costs and benefits to each for customers including and not limited to Contract Hire, Purchase, Employee Car Ownership, Salary Sacrifice and Outsourced Management.
  • Producing detailed analysis and strategic recommendations / proposals to help our customers’ deliver on their business and fleet objectives. This is both to ensure they see that JCT600 VLS are an invaluable long-term partner and to create new opportunities.
  • Ensure that each member of your team receives regular 1-2-1’s, be responsible for agreeing and setting training plans in line with the role requirement and any future colleague ambitions.
  • Taking ownership in solving problems that affect the service delivery to customers, prioritise customer issues and ensure they are responded to and brought to a satisfactory conclusion within the agreed time scales, including query resolution.


Qualifications:


  • A comprehensive understanding of our industry and experience in managing corporate and SME accounts, including a hunger for expanding your knowledge and expertise.
  • A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all your workings, including in the production of written proposals and fleet analysis.
  • Ability to manage personal workload and time effectively and to work to strict timescales having excellent process, quality and administration skills.
  • Self-motivation and professionalism with the ability to multitask whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strategic thinking, confident with the ability to effectively communicate persuasively with others, passing on information accurately and promptly.
