We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of Strategic Analysis Associate - Group FP&A. Group FP&A is a vital team to facilitate the consolidation of HSBC Group level Financial Resource Plans and monthly forecasting of bank’s performance against targets. The function is key to assess the bank’s progress to targets and overall Group Strategy. The output of team is high-profile and is produced in a confidential environment to tight deadlines but requiring a high degree of accuracy and robust control in accordance with Assurance.
In this role, you will:
- The main purpose of this role is to support the Group FP&A team in the development and maintenance of financial reporting for the purpose of projecting Business performance and ensuring alignment to Group strategy;
- Responsibility for the utilisation of insightful financial analysis to ensure Group objectives are met with maximum impact;
- This role provides a great opportunity to liaise with a wide range of global businesses and functions, develop a better understanding of the strategic priorities covering across planning, forecasting, capital management;
- You will focus on preparing and consolidating of Executive MI including Group Forecast results at Group/ Regions/ Global Businesses level. There is a very close coordination with CFO reporting teams, GB and Regional business finance internal senior stakeholders using TM1, MS Excel, Power Point, Tableau and so on.
