We arelooking for a Director focussed on strategic sales growth with UKCentral Government. In the past year CGIs Central Governmentbusiness has shown impressive growth, driven by our success inwinning and delivering to our existing clients and new departmentsand agencies. We plan to go much further, and to achieve our growthplans we need individuals with the ambition to match ours. This isa strategic role, with the primary objective of driving businessgrowth and executing on CGIs future vision. Your remit will be togrow the sales funnel by proactively identifying new opportunities,building pipeline and delivering against an achievable sales targetwith quality, profitable and sustainable wins. This highly diverseand rewarding role will see you join a highly successful,collaborative team that are driving our continued growth in ourCentral Government business.
This role can be nominallybased from any of our UK Offices in England and Wales but withplenty of remote/home working. There may be some travel required toother CGI and Client Offices as required. Yourfuture duties andresponsibilities
This is a key role within our business and your role will encompassthe following;
Utilise existing network to build on andmaintain key C-level relationships whilst growing the sales funnelby proactively identifying opportunities within UK CentralGovernment clients
Develop strategic Solution Sales frominitial qualification to contract signature
Create (andthen lead) virtual teams, encompassing bid management, service andsolution architecture, finance, operations and delivery) tosuccessfully bid for major contracts within an agreed bidbudget.
Ensure that our clients grasp the short andlong-term business and financial value of a relationship with us bydemonstrating the full breadth of CGIs capabilities andpropositions
Work closely with Vice-Presidents, toidentify, qualify, pursue, execute and close deals
Workwith the delivery function to ensure offerings and capabilities canbe delivered.
Collaborate with clients to understandtheir needs, requirements and expectations, and lead interactionsaround delivery, operations, sales and events
Engageearly in the sales cycle to be able to influence strategy andeffectively position yourself and CGI to create the opportunity todifferentiate
Build and develop win plans
Participate in weekly Business Development strategymeetings
Identify, organize and participate in VIPmeetings
Lead proposals and contribute to the design andwriting
Own the client relationship for assigned dealsand manage through to closure
Requiredqualifications to be successful in thisrole
You'll need to have as much of the following skills and experienceas possible;
Highly driven and creative with the abilityto identify and work with a range of customers, understand theirneeds, and develop business and technical solutions withthem.
Demonstrable successful track record of solutionselling into the Central Government customer base and meeting salestargets, particularly of selling TCV consulting
A strongbusiness leader with a proven record of accomplishment in building,inspiring and generating new business (new client, new offering ornew business area)
Proven track record of selling a rangeof IT services including consultancy, major systems integrationsolutions (design, build, finance, operate model), and majorsoftware application projects into UK Central Government.
Ability to balance flair and innovation with the commercialimperative.
Self-starter, who can lead deals and managematrix teams.
Strong in relationship development andongoing management, both internally and externally.
Allapplicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National SecurityVetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level.
