About the Role
The Supplier Relationship Manager will drive innovation and actively collaborate with suppliers, allowing the organisation to benefit from their expertise and adapt quickly to changing business requirements. The Supplier Relationship Manager will work alongside technical supplier business owners within Digital and Technology (D&T) and closely with the Group’s centralised Procurement & Supplier Management function ensuring policy and standards are adopted within D&T.
They will develop strategic partnerships with our strategic and critical suppliers, ensuring that their performance meets our business and commercial needs, ensuring that we benefit from the supplier’s product roadmaps, and that the horizon and emerging technologies can be fed into Enterprise Architecture to help inform organisational forward plans.
About You
With strong relationship management, negotiating, and supplier governance skills, you will have strong commercial and business acumen. Having sound technical knowledge, you will have experience of technology environments and ability to understand a range of technology systems.
We are looking for a strong team player who has an ability to work under pressure, with sound analysis and problem-solving skills. Your strong influencing and stakeholder management skills will enable you to build excellent working relationships through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
You will be analytical and data-driven in your approach and be good at working with stakeholders, whether within the immediate team, internal D&T teams, Procurement and Supplier Management or suppliers.
It is essential you have an adept understanding of Procurement and Supplier Management, particularly within the Information Technology realm, proficient in comprehending the value of well-structured supplier contracts and their impact on achieving business objectives.
