The role can be pitched at either Strategist OR Senior Strategist, depending on experience.

You’ll be an experienced strategist, able to effectively identify insights to drive strategic direction across multiple accounts. You’ll enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team.  This role would suit a candidate looking to quickly develop and progress their career.

The Strategy role will be to help change behaviours and make the strategic impact they need. Help understand clients’ markets and audiences, engage end audiences in qualitative discussions through focus groups and digital ethnography and translate insight into evidence-based campaigns, communications, and creative strategies.  Hybrid working – remote whilst being accessible to a Cheltenham hub as needed.

An important member of the Strategy team, helping to develop and grow the department and the offering for both clients and internal teams. You’ll be someone who enjoys taking the lead on strategy with clients, and revels in problem solving and unpicking sticky challenges.

We are looking for a full-time strategist, with 5+ years within an agency environment (or a mix of agency/client side) and an understanding of the charity sector.

You will be comfortable working across a range of media and be inquisitive and curious – bringing positivity, ideas and opinions to the table at every opportunity. You will have an ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal teams.

Duties:

• Crystallising insight from research into clear and concise summaries and recommendations 

• profile data provided to ensure any propositional and creative work is as focussed as it can be

• audience insights with client ambitions and strengths, translating propositions into clear and compelling cases for support

• tailoring propositional content to suit audience, context, relationship status, communications intent, working with our in-house creatives

• Campaign planning

• NPD and innovation

• Trends and innovation 

Essential skills and experience to succeed in the role:

• Ideally charity sector and fundraising strategy experience

• Strategy experience, some of which must be from an agency

• Awareness of key research methodologies

• Media and channel planning

• Effectiveness and post campaign analysis

• Workshop facilitation

• Relationship building
