Strategy Director

Gleeson are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic marketing agency in Birmingham in their search for a Strategy Director. This is part of their growth plans for 2024.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong experience in planning and executing strategic plans, directing and guiding the development of brand and marketing programs - ideally you will have been doing a similar role within an agency.

You will need marketing or management consultancy experience with a strong track record of advising on business growth.

Key responsibilities for this role:

• Leading the strategy on proposition projects, defining new brands and re-positioning existing ones.
• Developing marketing program strategies and guiding their deployment.
• Being a trusted counsel for senior clients, advising on business growth, marketing initiatives and measurement of long term value.
• Line management of Strategists within the business.

Essential characteristics:

• Persuasive presenter in front of company boards.
• Due diligence expert - working through research and analysis at pace to surface relevant insights.
• Confidence leading working sessions, conducting depth interviews and building relationships.
• Strong writing skills, crafting compelling, unique narratives in presentations, manifestos and briefs.

This role will be based out of our client's state of the art offices in central Birmingham and you will be needed in the office 4 days per week.

Our client is offering a very competitive salary of £80-90k for this role.
