About the team
The Execution Managed Services (EMS) Strategy team are responsible for developing and evolving the firm's overall EMS strategy. It also leads the development of materials to effectively share and communicate this strategy with our key internal stakeholders, as well as keeping them updated on progress. The team has a broad strategic remit, covering both the demand and supply sides of the business. It spans many areas, including market and services strategy, alliance strategy and technology strategy.
Skills and experience
We are looking for a high performing Senior Strategy Manager who wants to continue to develop their skills as a business strategy professional and apply them as an advisor to a key growth area for our firm;
- Proven track record in successfully scoping and delivering strategy projects and conducting thorough analysis
- Extensive knowledge of industry-leading strategy development frameworks and analysis techniques
- Comprehensive understanding of the key market and competitive trends within the Professional Services sector, and the factors driving these trends
- Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, capable of overseeing complex analysis and extracting key insights and conclusions
- Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to create high-quality board-level presentations, reports, and discussion papers
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong team player, adept at building relationships and utilising influential skills to establish a wide network of contacts to drive the agenda forward
- Proven track record of effective management and coaching skills, consistently delivering high-quality results
Role description and responsibilities
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on Strategy development for a large and high growth part of PwC's business, which is central to the future strategic direction of the firm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive analysis to identify the critical strategic challenges faced by our EMS business, taking into consideration the broader organisational context
- Utilising industry-leading strategy tools and frameworks to generate innovative strategic insights for PwC
- Taking a leadership role in driving specific strategy projects within the EMS domain, including overseeing a team of EMS Strategy managers on a daily basis
- Developing strategic analyses and recommendations for approval by senior leadership
- Crafting well-structured strategy papers and delivering persuasive presentations to senior stakeholders
- Offering subject matter expertise in strategy to senior leadership, actively engaging in challenging and supporting them in making crucial strategic decisions necessary for advancingEMS
