We need an AWEsome Strategy Specialist to provide specialist strategic and engagement support and expertise to shape, develop and implement strategy activities. This role contributes to the regular prioritisation and long-term planning for strategic engagement.
Location: Our offices are based in Berkshire, RG7 4PR between Reading and Basingstoke with onsite parking.
Salary range: Starting at £35,120 to £48,000 depending on experience.
A typical day for a Strategy Specialist at AWE could look like this:
• Updating and creating Services Team documents and processes
• Internal and external stakeholder research
• Project-management of tactical activities relating to strategic development such as: planning, report production, benefits realisation management and delivery planning
• Quality assuring materials used for strategic engagement activity (e.g., presentations, posters)
• Producing research context and information gathering on business strategies
• Facilitating understanding of strategy development and stakeholder management
• Support strategy and board paper development through activities such as content creation, content reviews, editing and presentation
• Co-ordinating the delivery of meetings and workshops, including record capture and content production
We would like you to demonstrate or have experience of:
• Spectacular communication and interpersonal skills
• Building rapport and earning trust
• Understanding, justifying and communicating future context and
outcomes
• Qualitative and quantitative analysis to draw and present data, conclusions or a way forward
• Agility with MS Office applications including Visio
• Superb administrative, organisational and time management skills and an eye for detail
• Prioritising changing workloads
• SharePoint page and library management
• Production of marketing/engagement assets, e.g., PowerPoint presentations,
videos etc
• Experience in related area in equivalent role and/or within defence or
nuclear
