My client is an established Structural & Civil engineering firm with various offices in the UK. They are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer.

Working on a broad range of Structural Projects, this high-performing, regional consultancy are looking for an engineer to join their team in order to manage projects and deliver them to a successful conclusion.

They are open to discussions with an engineer who is aspiring to be a client facing Structural Project Engineer and needs some support to achieve that level over the next 12 months, or an engineer who is already a fully-fledged Senior Structural Engineer.

The projects are very diverse and generally challenging incorporating bespoke residential new build structures, light industrial refurb and new build steel frames, heritage/conservation works and mixed use/retail developments. The role will involve liaising with clients, architects and developers, supporting other members of the team, undertaking site visits with an intention to develop commercial skills as well.

The ideal candidate will be practical, diligent, technically capable, able to lead meetings and also discuss issues with clients. Excellent written and spoken English skills and the ability to write rational and accurate reports for a range of clients is another key skill this role will require.

Due to the office location and need to carry out site visits a car is required for the role (full business mileage covered) along with strong communication skills. The company is technically strong, relaxed and friendly with good profitable offices offering a great place to work.
