SalaryQC Legal is excited to partner with our esteemed client, an internationally recognized law firm, in the search for a talented Managing Solicitor to join their dynamic London office. This role sits within the Structured Finance team, specifically contributing to the "Speciality Finance" practice. Here, you will play a pivotal role in advising alternative lenders, including FinTech startups, or funders to alternative lenders on funding solutions. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lending Expertise: Advise on a diverse range of lending, including SME lending, mortgages, bridging loans, commercial real estate loans, auto finance HP, unsecured consumer loans, buy now pay later, and litigation finance.
- High-Value Deals: Work on substantial, complex, high-value, and international deals that challenge and inspire.
- Document Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate senior and mezzanine finance documents, taking the lead in managing transaction processes and supervising less experienced colleagues.
- Strategic Leadership: Demonstrate strategic leadership by managing LMA-based transactions, negotiating English law security documents, and overseeing transactions from inception to completion.

- Financial Regulation Expertise: Demonstrate a demonstrable ingenuity for financial regulation law, coupled with a real flair for strategy.
- Proven Track Record: Boast superb previous experience in private practice, actively contributing to high-value deals within international firms and possessing 5+ years PQE.
- Transaction Mastery: Showcase technical accuracy, pragmatism, and experience in leading on LMA-style transactions, including drafting and negotiating.
- Client Management Skills: Possess excellent client management and relationship skills, essential for fostering strong connections.
- Secured Borrowing Base Facilities: Experience in secured borrowing base facilities is a bonus.
