THE ROLE
The Studio Production Assistant role is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone keen to get experience within a busy, fast paced photography studio environment.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sample management, ecommerce support, administrative support, and studio assistance. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organisation.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Our in-house photo studio team are a talented bunch with a keen eye for detail and an appetite for perfection. The Studio Production Assistant will report into the head of content production and will work across all aspects of the photo studio.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Sample management - receiving and organising samples throughout the studio. Working alongside the buying and production teams in ensuring all samples are accounted for and are in the right place at the right time. Checking in and checking out samples, across both AllSaints & John Varvatos
- Ecommerce support - Assisting with shoot preparation and providing general ad hoc support. Working with freelance assistants and overseeing sample management within the space. Pulling samples for shoot rails and preparing still life / mannequin samples in a timely manner. Conducting morning checks with styling teams to verify all samples against shoot lists
- Administrative support - Updating productivity documents and trackers to ensure accurate and timely information
- Studio assisting - Responsible for the daily organisation and flow of the studio. Maintaining a clear and tidy space for optimal productivity
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- Strong administrative and time management skill, as well as excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Confident at using Excel
- Be a natural at taking initiative and creative problem solving
- Attention to detail is key as this is a fast paced role, so a sharp eye and being someone who organises others is essential
- Able to remain calm and professional in pressured situations while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude
- A team player who is eager to learn, develop and can grasp new information quickly
- Confident at interacting and communicating with people from around the business at all levels
- A keen interest in fashion along with some relevant experience in the industry and want to progress your career in fashion production
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Based in our East London Studios in vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty. Studio Location. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street.
