Foster for Bradford is the independent fostering agency formed under Bradford Children and Families Trust in April 2023, but run independently.
The Supervising Social worker roles will offer unique opportunities for experienced Social Workers to help us achieve our ambition and deliver the best outcomes for the Children and Young People of Bradford. You could make a real, tangible difference.

Salary: PO3 - £40,221 - £43,421 per annum
Hours: 37
Location: Sir Henry Mitchell House / Keighley Town Hall
Annual Leave: Starts at 27 days and rises to max of 34 days with service. (plus public holidays)
Excellent Pension: Defined benefit scheme with 16.8% employer contribution
Retention Payment: You will also receive a £3k annual retention payment This will comprise of two payments of £1,500 (before tax) pa in September and March (pro rata).

Professional Support: Regular supervision and annual appraisals, payment of professional fees

As a Supervising Social worker, you will hold a manageable caseload of fostering families who you will support, champion and develop to be the best they can be for our children and young people.

About You
We are looking for experienced qualified Social Workers with strong interpersonal skills, fostering knowledge and/or experience and who is an expert in achieving quality outcomes for children and young people. We need Supervising Social Workers who put children and young people at the heart of every intervention. Someone who enthusiastically embraces change, thrives on challenge, and tackles the most complex needs with drive and determination to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people of Bradford.
