Security Supervisor - UCLH- National Hospital 

• £12.95 per hour
• 42 hours per week 

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Security Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 42 hours per week.As a Security Supervisor, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your key responsibilities may include:

• Maintain high profile internal and external patrols across the site
•  Activate or de-activate alarm systems.  
• Ensure schedules of checks are followed and in accordance with Procedures.
• Respond promptly and effectively to all security requests, including when Trust staff are faced with violent or abusive patients, visitors or members of the public, thorough undertaking necessary restraint and control in a professional and legal manner.
• Complete daily reports of accidents or incidents following the agreed procedure, ensuring all necessary action is taken.
• Provide assistance and support to all patients, visitors and staff when faced with difficult and distressful situations.
• Escort staff to and from car parks or external buildings within the site.
• Use of IT software in relation to security and car parking operations.
• Operation of closed circuit television surveillance in accordance with operational instructions and approved Code Of Practice. (SIA Licence approved)

Our ideal Supervisor will:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
