Currently looking for full time, Site Supervisor to join our successful team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· To follow Health & Safety and other company policy guidelines;
· Monitor PPE compliance;
· High level of communication with site management to ensure that key instructions are understood and carried out;
· Ensure day to day running of the site;
· Keep Manager informed of any issues or concerns (relevant & timely);
· Ensure full communication of any tool box talks or team briefs;
· Induct & train new and existing staff members, ensure understanding of expectations;
· Ensure input & output material is to expected and agreed quality levels;
· Ensure that all areas are kept as clean and tidy as possible and that during plant downtime general operatives are cleaning/working in their designated areas;
· Ensure that all bins/skips are emptied when full;
· Ensure lock off procedure are followed correctly during daily maintenance/cleaning of plant;
· Ensure all near misses & accidents are reported correctly;
· Mobile plant operations – safe operation of loading shovel, excavator or FLTs;
· Ensure that appropriate traffic management is in place;
· Deputise for Site Manager & Site Managers Assistant when not on site
· Organise the removal of waste in accordance with management instructions and compliance.

ESSENTIAL:
· Good knowledge of H&S regulation and safe systems of work
· Good knowledge of plant and machinery relevant to the site
· Previous experience in a similar operational role or environment
· A proven track record of employee management and production management of an industrial/factory type facility
· Working with low levels of supervision in a high pressure production environment
· A clear understanding and experience of using KPIs and reports
· Previous experience of training new, temporary and existing employees
· Proven ability to work within timescales and meeting deadlines
· Basic standard of education such as GCSE, Standard Grades or equivalent
· Good level of English

Working pattern - Mon-Fri (usually 6:30am-4:30pm), overtimes during a week and, or weekends may be required so flexibility is desirable.
