Supplier Relationship Manager - IT & Tech - £85K

As the Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be tasked with establishing and upholding best practices to cultivate positive relationships with suppliers throughout the Supply Chain, particularly concentrating on IT & Tech vendors.

Our client is a multi-national entertainment business who are developing groundbreaking technology to improve customer experience and engagement, and with an ambition to build one of the UK's most diverse and inclusive working environments. This role will play a pivotal part in the wider purchasing and procurement team, proving ongoing supplier management support.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage and improve supplier performance
• Lead, define and implement robust KPIs, Performance Measures and Service Credits for all significant contracts
• Ensure Supplier Performance Management is undertaken with regular supplier and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure MI reporting is distributed for all suppliers through KPIs and Performance Measures
• Resolve Supplier Disputes and escalations
• Create and present dashboards including progress on Supplier Management and key actions
• Develop and poduce Supplier Performance Management Dashboards
• Be the point of contact for supplier management queries and issues

Experience

Essential

• Extensive experience of procurement supplier/contract management, with experience managing relationships with blue-chip and SME suppliers
• Experience working with IT & Tech vendors
• Relationship Management with key suppliers
• Experience of delivering process improvement in a complex environment
• Experience undertaking and concluding difficult commercial conversations with stakeholders
• Experience with contractual dispute within a commercial environment

Desirable

• Experience working in a greenfield environment
• Experience manging relationships with big vendors such as Microsoft or AWS
• Strong planning, organising and communications skills
• Strong commercial acumen background
• Experience working in procurement, particulary across the software category
• Be in commutable distance to Watford (1 or 2 days per week in office)
