Supply Chain Coordinator

We are currently working with a leading FMCG business based in Paddock Wood. Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their business on a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract.

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning of all stock movement and orders. A vital supporting role in the Supply Chain process, managing people, processes, and systems to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Checking stock availability and issuing customer orders for picking at the warehouse
To support the administration process within the warehouse
Cycle Count issuing and reconciliation, reporting data to the head of Supply Chain
Assist with Production scheduling and capacity planning
Works order processing
Monitor inputs vs outputs and timesheets
Batch Sheet checks and sign-off
Assist with investigation to identify root causes of stock inaccuracies
General Filing and Production email folder administrator
Maintaining all documents relating to the Supply Chain process per the company’s quality requirements
Liaising with logistics on shipping dimensions and collection of goods
Reporting material shortages and liaising with procurement

Person Specification:

Enjoys working as part of a team
Enthusiastic and hardworking with a focus on providing the best possible service
Previous experience working in a Supply Chain or similar role in a manufacturing environment
High attention to detail in producing a quality output and able to maintain this when under pressure
Stock control experience
Presentable, with excellent communication skills
Works well under pressure – flexible and able to prioritise
Strong IT skills – understanding of ERP systems advantageous
Desire to find solutions to problems

Hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. Benefits include a company pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, an extra day off on your birthday and free parking.
