The team

Across Frazer-Nash, we provide expert consultancy advice and support to clients from all sectors. Our Programme and Management Consultancy division is made up of Project, Programme and Supply Chain professionals, and our range of services includes advising clients through business transformation programmes, to establishing and embedding new Supply Chain Management capabilities.
Through the success of our existing Supply Chain advisory capability, we are growing our team and have a requirement for more Supply Chain specialists. As part of our team, you will find yourself working across all our market sectors, including large and complex defence programmes, some of the largest infrastructure programmes in Europe and emergent new markets. You will be required to deliver projects as an individual consultant or as a member of a larger multi-disciplined team, supporting our clients to successfully deliver their requirements. In all cases, you will develop and adapt your knowledge, skills and methodologies to meet the needs of our clients, drawing on your expertise to enable their success.
The role

We offer a wide range of Supply Chain Management Consultancy services, these can include:

  • Defining client procurement functions & setting up required processes, strategies, and tools.
  • Advising customer Senior Leadership Teams (SLT) on the key aspects of Supply Chain transformations.
  • Developing the Procurement and Commercial Cases for a £multi-million programmes of work
  • Advising on how to optimise contracting and sourcing of enterprises across Supply Chains of varying sizes.

The person

You will have demonstrable experience working in complex Supply Chain environments as a Supply Chain Manager, Contract Manager, Strategic Buyer or a similar role. You will also be able to demonstrate your involvement in Supply Chain transformation programmes or significant Supply Chain change programmes. The successful candidate will have developed a strong understanding of best practice in operational and strategic Supply Chain Management competencies and be able to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. We are looking for a candidate who wants to grow their skillset, in time you will be given exposure to different roles including the design, implementation & operation of Supply Chain arrangements and advising clients on how to improve their Supply Chain practices within the Defence, Energy & Government Infrastructure sectors.

Requirements

The successful applicant will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Experience in Supply Chain transformation or Supply Chain change management and at least CIPS Level 5.
  • Good understanding of the various Supply Chain Management methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Ability to identify problems within existing Supply Chain arrangements and highlight / implement solutions.

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
