Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is searching for a Supply Chain Project Management role in Bristol/Gosport/Lossiemouth/ Yeovil, UK. This role will have responsibility across the Fixed Wing Programme for aligning Supply Chain strategy, customer relationships and overall Supply Chain performance. It will support the Fixed Wing Business as a consolidated integration point between programme leadership and the SCM function, and support decision making by contributing Supply Chain subject matter expertise into business strategy, execution and proposal activities. This role will report to the Supply Chain Planning & Programme Integration Manager for BDUK Fixed WingSupply Chain.
Responsibilities
Represent Fixed WingSupply Chain Management as the key interface between the Fixed Wing Programme and Supply Chain. This would include preparing for and attending key programme drumbeat meetings on behalf of Supply Chain Management and communicating priorities within the Supply Chain function.
Communicate and coordinate tasks and activities across the Supply Chain function. This position interfaces with all SCM functional areas inclusive of Supplier Management and Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, Demand Forecasting and Asset Management.
Oversee the TAF (Tasking Authorization Form, O&A) process for Supply Chain across both P8 ASP (Level 3 TAFs) and E7 Acquisition (Level 2 & 3 TAFs).
Provide support to Supply Chain Project Managers across E7 Acquisition, E7 Sustainment, Depot, P8 International & P8 ASP.
Manage change to programme and contractual baselines as they relate to Supply Chain scope and requirements. Triage, impact assess and communicate these changes to across the all SCM teams.
Responsible for managing overall SCM status, performance and critical issues within a project and functional management structure. Manages SCM performance, budget and risk and report across key programme/functional meetings.
Coordinates the development and approval of SCM-related artefacts, including Supply Chain Architectures, Bills of Materials, Supply Chain Management Plans, Basis of Estimates for labour and travel, Key Performance Indicator development and other Schedules / CDRLs etc.
Build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and capture project planning activities relating to SCM projects and the relevant resource for the projects.
Operate in accordance with Supply Chain & Project Management Best Practices during the completion of all assigned work.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum of 5+ years Supply Chain experience.
Demonstrated experience working within dynamic global Supply Chains.
SQEP across multiple Supply Chain domains (Asset Management, Warehouse & Distribution, Supplier Management, Demand Forecasting)
Experience in executing acquisition or sustainment projects within MRO industry
Experience working within a matrix organisation (desirable)
Dynamic, innovative and self-motivated individual.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outcome focused and demonstrates strong values-based leadership.
Demonstrable experience at motivating team members to overcome challenging milestones.
Ability to obtain UK security clearance
Desired Qualifications and Experience
University degree in a relevant subject.
Actively working to or qualified in any of PMI; AMP; PRINCE2; CIPS
Experience supporting proposal preparation for UK government contracts
