The purpose of this role

This opportunity as Supply Chain Manager you will be solely responsible for developing, implementing and driving operational excellence. You will lead the Supply Chain team in developing and implementing lean concepts, ensuring that processes meet with customer expectations.

As Supply Chain Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Developing processes to ensure customer expectations are met in line with company resources and optimal working capital
• Drive and implement Supply Chain strategies across multiple departments including warehouse, logistics, planning, and inventory management
• Primary ownership of the ERP system from a Supply Chain perspective
• Ensuring key supplier relationships with customers and suppliers
• Creating and owning the capacity and production planning
• Travelling around and outside the UK

Skills & experience:

• Degree level education
• CIPS or APICS qualification
• Supply Chain Management experience including leading multiple teams
• Distribution/Logistics experience including knowledge of trade compliance requirements
• Knowledge of inventory management techniques
• Strong IT literacy including Excel, ERP systems and business reporting
• Natural ability to negotiate and influence
