Supply Chain Manager – Food Manufacturing

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: Competitive, circa £55,000 - £60000 per annum, plus benefits

Renowned for their commitment to excellence, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Materials and Inventory Control Manager to improve and build their material Supply Chain strategy.

Role Overview:

This role will be part of the senior site leadership team. You will have ultimate responsibility for the management and improvement of the Supply Chain function on site. To develop and lead the planning team on delivering a feasible optimised plan to meet customer expectations, while managing a set of Supply Chain KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and delivery of agreed Supply Chain KPI's and process compliance to drive process improvement to best practice.
• Develop a site function that will integrate all aspects of SAP effectively as well as integrate all recommended planning processes to the standards expected.
• Manage the various aspects of all Supply Chain activities, ensuring the delivery of value-add service to the business.
• Manage supply planning, raw material call-off, scheduling and transport roles within the department.
• You will manage end to end inventory and stock control.
   

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven track record in a Supply Chain role within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience in working with SAP in a manufacturing context is essential.
• People Leadership & Management experience.
• Experience in working cross-functionally within a business.
• Change management experience.
• Extensive experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of FMCG manufacturing processes and Supply Chain management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Tenacity to ensure that we care for materials as if they are our own.
