Supply Chain Manager - Nottingham - Up to £70,000, £9,000 Car Allowance + Company Wide Benefits *
Futures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ food manufacture who are well-known in the market for their great tasting products!
Sitting on the SLT team and reporting into the Site Director, you will oversee the Planning and Scheduling team and be the go to person on site for Supply Chain. You will be the link between the Customer, Commercial, Commercial Finance, Planning and Supplier functions to ensure the needs of the site and customer are being delivered.
We are looking for a highly driven Supply Chain Manager to evaluate current operations, then make positive changes to make the day to day running of the site more effective.
Key Duties of a Supply Chain Manager Include:
* Lead and continuously develop the Planning team, providing support throughout and suggesting the implementation of new processes
* Work in partnership with the Despatch team to ensure robust logistics management
* Be an integral part of the SLT, represent the site at the business’ centralised Supply Chain meetings
* Drive the S&OP process
* Work in partnership with the Procurement Business Partner to ensure that suppliers are well managed
* Support with NPD projects and the instalment of new equipment
Key Skills and Experience of a Supply Chain Manager Include:
* A minimum of 5 years experience within Senior Planning or Supply Chain roles
* A strong understanding of the full Supply Chain process
* Experience within a food manufacturing environment
* Strong stakeholder management, ideally with experience of sitting on a SLT
* Previous experience of manging complex sites with large numbers of suppliers of raw materials.
* A passion for coaching and developing teams
