A superb opportunity has been created to appoint a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager for this leading UK manufacturer of special purpose machinery for World Class organisations Globally.
Based in their East Midlands offices, candidates applying can easily commute from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
Candidates highly sought will be from an Engineering and Manufactring background operating in a purchasing role as a Buyer / Senior Buyer / Purchasing Manager or similar.
This exciting position will enable you to take responsibility for all Supply Chain and purchasing activity (production and non-production) for a range of raw materials including electronics and mechanical components. This includes stock management, order fulfilment, supplier management, material availability, material cost, transport and stores.
You will be a fast learner, enjoy fostering strong relationships and a positive leader in the Supply Chain team.
You’ll need to have an interest in engineering / manufacturing as you’ll be liaising with engineering suppliers both old and new, building sound relations and ensuring the best possible prices are secured and materials delivered.
An exciting aspect to this role is that you will have the full autonomy to project manage parts delivery for new machine builds.
