Job Description
- You will be responsible for all Supply Chain and purchasing activity for a range of raw materials and components.
- You will focus on stock management, order fulfilment, material availability, work order release, supplier management, transport, and material cost etc.
- You will lead a Supply Chain team of 4 whilst ensuring tasks are completed on time and to standard.
- Project managing the purchasing element of new machinery and ensure which parts are the bottleneck, also ensure that any bottlenecks are dealt with swiftly.
- Developing existing suppliers and selecting new suppliers whilst negotiating terms and costs.
- You will manage stock levels and supplier information using Microsoft Excel.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Supply chain and purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong managerial and communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Any relevant Supply Chain qualifications would be advantageous.
