A fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner/ Analyst to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in Burton upon Trent with a salary up to 31,000 per annum. The Supply Chain Planner/ Analyst will be joining the Supply Chain Team to collect, analyse, and report on Supply Chain data for the organisation, whilst also processing orders and tracking shipments.
Candidates will have previous Supply Chain experience from a manufacturing or retail environment and be eager to develop themselves within their career.
Role Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner/ Analyst:
- Collect and analyse Supply Chain data from a variety of sources, including ERP systems, spreadsheets, and databases
- Develop reports and dashboards to track Supply Chain performance
- Make recommendations to improve Supply Chain efficiency and effectiveness
- Process orders and track shipments
- Manage stock levels in warehouse locations and place replenishment orders with suppliers
- Identify trends and patterns in the data to make recommendations
- Resolve any order or shipment issues that arise
- Work with Supply Chain team members to ensure that the Supply Chain is running smoothly including coordinating with sales, manufacturing, and logistics.
Experience required of the Supply Chain Planner/ Analyst:
- 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Experience of MRP/ ERP systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Salary:
Up to 31,000. The position also offers hybrid working.
