Interim Senior Supply Chain Planner With Kinaxis Knowledge

Interim Senior Supply Chain Planner with deep Kinaxis knowledge is required to support a global consumer goods business as part of their international transformation programme. You will be leading critical functions to ensure efficient and effective Supply Chain operations, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Supply Chain by leveraging advanced planning and analytics tools, fostering collaboration across departments, and continuously improving processes to meet business objectives.

This is an initial 6 month contract, offering a competitive day rate and hybrid working. Must have fluent French language skills, be local to Parisand happy to work on site at least 3 days per week.

You will be:

• Forecasting: Utilise historical data and market trends to predict future product demand.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
• Capacity Planning: Ensure that production capacity meets the forecasted demand and adjust plans as necessary.
• Performing What-If Analysis: Perform simulations to understand the impact of different variables (e.g., demand changes, supply disruptions) on the Supply Chain.
• Scenario Planning: Develop and evaluate multiple Supply Chain scenarios to prepare for potential future events.
• Working closely with other departments (e.g., procurement, production, logistics) to align Supply Chain plans.
• Supplier and Customer Interaction: Communicate with suppliers and customers to ensure alignment and address any issues or changes.
• Track and report on KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and forecast accuracy.
• Use data analytics to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
• Quickly identify and resolve Supply Chain issues, such as production delays or supply shortages.
• Implement and monitor improvements in Supply Chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Leverage the capabilities of Kinaxis to integrate data from various sources, run simulations, and provide real-time insights and recommendations.
• Utilise automation and integration tools within Kinaxis to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts.
• Identify potential risks in the Supply Chain and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop plans to ensure Supply Chain resilience
