Senior Supply Chain Planner (Manufacturing)

A leading FMCG Food Manufacturer are currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join the business. This role will have a broad autonomy including Production Planning, Forecast and Demand Planning as well as Sales and Operational planning.

The Supply Chain Planner will manage the assembly and fulfilment of the eCommerce volume and activity. As the Supply Chain office evolves, additional duties engaged with the manufacturing from raw materials into finished goods will transpire.

Senior Supply Chain Planner responsibilities include:

• Ownership and production of the eCommerce build plan.
• Custodian of the annual forecast and purchasing plan.
• Coordinate third party products and packaging materials.
• Support in the identification of packaging for the forthcoming year.
• Support to identify and procure goods for resale aligned to brand values.
• Coordination, sourcing, and refreshing of eCommerce suppliers.
• Manage strong day to day supplier relationships for the robust delivery of the plan.
• Within the framework of the plan, and changing forecasts ensure flexibility and agility.
• Focus on continuous improvement through structure and discipline of process.
• Highlighting risks and opportunities within inventory levels.
• Own and adopt the suite of reports, highlighting key metrics.
• Provide secondary support to other planning or logistics functions at peak times.
• Deputise for other roles within the Supply Chain office.

You will be a Senior Planner within an FMCG Manufacturing environment. Breadth of planning experience will be deemed advantageous including Production Planning, Sales and Operational planning, Forecast and Demand Planning.

This Senior Planner will require excellent Numerically and IT skills (particularly excel) and analytical skills and the ability to interpret data as well as a commercial mind set.
