Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are working with a market leading manufacturer, based in Bradford, in the search for a Supply Planner.
My client is looking for a Supply Planner to be responsible for planning the supply of products from a group of suppliers to meet forecasted demand. The successful candidate should have proven skills in building relationships and managing stakeholders whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail with the capability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly. The role will require the candidate to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines both as part of a team and independently.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Leading weekly and monthly processes in SAP to manage the supply of products from suppliers
- Planning the production schedule and reviewing and releasing purchase requisitions to maintain target stock levels.
- Work with the Supply Planner to make sure that NPD requirements are built into supplier schedules and track and report on-time in-full delivery for each manufacturer
- Ensure accurate data is maintained in SAP
- Ensure stock accuracy targets are met through correct processing of stock movements
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences:
- Excellent communication skills and experience in managing supplier relationships
- Strong focus on customer service both internally and externally
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work well under pressure as part of team and using own initiative
- Experience within a fast-moving, international consumer products business
- Experience of SAP
