Job Title: Support Engineer- EUC
Job Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Job Type: Contract & All 5 days in Office
Responsibilities are:
- Providing on-site office cover at the Customer's offices during Business Hours, including a meet & greet facility for end user issues, starters, leavers and onboarding;
- Building and maintaining laptop/desktop images (for both Windows and MacOS);
- Laptop/desktop allocation for new joiners
- Laptop/desktop replacement for current
- Laptop/desktop application distribution and patching processes.
- Supporting laptop/desktop integration with office wi-FI, home wi-FI and VPN software.
- Performing laptop/desktop recovery for leavers.
- Maintaining a known defect list for EUC.
- Supporting MacOS and Apple Business Management
The Responsibilities/required skills are as follows:
- Strong experience in desktop support, field technician support, application support, knowledge on LAN/WAN and network troubleshooting.
- Should be able to lead and coordinate between client location(s).
- Detail oriented; follow and/or establish policies and procedures,
- Passionate about technology and have a willingness to learn new systems and skills.
- Good problem-solving skills, capable of using initiative and common-sense to tackle issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with a variety of internal customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
- Keeps calm under pressure.
