Our fabulous #TeamWeavers is on the lookout for caring and motivated colleagues with a good sense of humour to them as a Support Practitioners on a permanent full-time (36 hours per week) basis.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner, you'll support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and personal care.
We'll also need you to take an active part in their hobbies and interests which include exploring new locations, going for walks, listening to music and arts & crafts. With your guidance and support, you'll help the people we support to maintain their own homes and be an active member of their local community.
Having a full, clean driving licence would be beneficial as some of the people we support have their own mobility cars they enjoy going out in but this isn;t a deal breaker!
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
The ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
Good communication skills
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual shift patterns usually fall within the hours of 0730-2200 hours and will include weekend and public holiday working on a rotational basis. Occasional waking nights may also form part of your rota if night cover was needed.
