Atrium Healthcare is assisting a client in the Supported Living Sector, providing care for adults with learning disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Service Support Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work within an established Management & Support team, ensuring compliance and safety in service delivery.
Role Overview:
As a Service Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting service seniors and developing their skills to run safe and effective services. Your person-centered approach will empower service users to lead independent lives, while ensuring their needs are met. This role involves remote working across various services in Essex, making a full driving license essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support service seniors in running safe and effective services.
- Ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act, CQC requirements, and company policies.
- Facilitate lifestyle choices, daily living tasks, and well-being of service users.
- Write reports and chair meetings as necessary.
- Collaborate with professionals from health, local authority, and CQC.
- Conduct audits to assess processes and outcomes.
- Maintain understanding of relevant legislations such as MCA, DOL's, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety Act.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Health and Social Care.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care.
- Ability to manage workload flexibly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel across Essex (mileage reimbursed).
