Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Personal advisor for Oldham council.
Oldham Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Working as part of a team undertaking direct work with children and families, to promote and safeguard their welfare, in accordance with their appropriate plans and strategies.
- To work with young people aged 16 yrs - 25 yrs who are or have been looked after or accommodated by a Local Authority in order to assist them to live an independent life in their community
- Provide practical and personal support to individuals to maintain high levels of hygiene including personal and intimate care . Role holders will ensure medication is administered, taken and recorded, in line with the medication policy.
- Identify and understand health and social care needs of customers and respond to their needs by providing relevant services that promote their independence health and wellbeing including diet, exercise and health Action Plans
This role is on initial 1 month contract, so previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
