Support Worker

Design 4 Life will support you with the training and induction programme to make a rewarding difference in people’s lives every day. This Support Worker role pays £12.00 per hour.

The Support Worker role is worked Mon-Fri between the hours of 7.15am and 5.30pm. Full time (30 hour) and part time positions are available.

Annual Leave is 20 days per year plus bank holidays (pro rata)

As a Support Worker with Design 4 Life, you will need enthusiasm and commitment to provide high quality care and make a difference in people’s lives and well-being every day.

The ability to develop relationships with adults with learning difficulties, physical, communication and health needs and become skilled at managing a range of situations. You’ll be a reliable, understanding, and social individual who can encourage people to participate and engage in a range of activities both at Design 4 Life’s base and within the local community.

The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team, to provide support with moving and handling, personal care, medication administration and effective communication skills.

To be considered for a position with Design 4 Life you will require.

• 6-months UK care experience from within the past 3-years

• Preferably you will hold a full UK driving licence to enable you to drive Design 4 Life’s company vehicles in the community.
• A disclosure and barring service check at enhanced level*
