Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. Duties:
-Establishing positive relationships with young people and always offering them unconditional and positive regard.
-Providing daily support including risk assessing ,managing and following safeguarding protocols or challenges.
-Facilitating educational and recreational activities to promote learning and development.
-Monitoring and documenting children's progress and behaviour
-Providing emotional support and guidance to children facing difficulties
-Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in child care and support
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and assisted living practices
- Ability to administer medications according to prescribed guidelines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide emotional support to clients
- First aid certification is a plus
