We are looking for Support Workersto join our team here at Wellgate Support based in Kidsgrove.

Contract: Full-Time/Part-Time/Bank-Flexi Contracts available.

Hours: Our shifts are

- 8:00AM - 8:00PM 12 hours

-8:00AM-12:00NOON 4 hours

-12:00NOON-4:00PM 4 hours

-4:00PM -8:00PM 4 hours

-8:00AM - 4:00PM 8hours

-12:00PM - 8:00PM 8 hours

-8:00PM - 8:00AM 12 hours

Pay: Starting from £11.44 per hour.

Our exciting service at Wade Court, Kidsgrove has been designed for people with an assessed need for support, with 17 high quality apartments and a range of assistive technology we aim to help those in our care live the most independent life as possible.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour within a supported living environment.
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, the care & support policies and procedures
  • Identifying needs and preferences for each individual.
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.

Please Note

Care experience is not essential as we offer a full induction and regular training to equip you with the skills and confidence to carry out your role, as well as regular training and support throughout your career with us.

Positions are subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS.
