ForeverCare are looking for dedicated Support Workers to provide quality, person-centred support to Children and Young people who require structure in their lives. Experience of dealing with young people’s mental health, youth offenders and challenging behaviours is advantageous. Please note this is supporting 16-18 yr olds with developing their independent skills and is not personal care.
We are looking for full time, part time and bank staff in Oldham (OL4 & OL8), Radcliffe (M26) Swinton (M28) and Tyldesley (M29). We will be hiring for the Bolton area too starting end of October.

You will work alongside the Manager and Senior Support Workers in supporting our young people to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will work with external agencies and attend relevant meetings as necessary. All daily and specific paperwork will need to be completed to a high standard.
We are keen to speak with candidates who can work days and/or nights.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Right to Work in the UK
- 6 Months+ UK experience of working within a similar setting
- 5 years of professional references
- Enhanced DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
- Relevant Qualifications (desirable)
- Driver (or willing to learn)
About Us
In our Supported Living service staff support young people aged 16+ towards living independently and keeping themselves safe and bettering their lives. This involves working 1 to 1 or with other staff to support young people who are vulnerable and can show challenging behaviour. ForeverCare's aim with supported living is to help these young people change their life direction to a better one and prepare them for adulthood and living independently while keeping themselves safe. We are looking for Support Workers to join our supported living service.
In our Residential Children's homes we offer care for vulnerable young people aged 5 and above. We currently have 3 registered children's homes with Ofsted. These young people are vulnerable and some can be challenging. It is ForeverCare's aim to improve the lives of these young people and provide care for them to keep them safe and improve the quality of their lives. Experience working in care is very important for working in our residential children's homes and having a NVQ level 3 is beneficial. In this service we are looking for Residential Child Care Officers who can supply care for the young person residing in the home.
