Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, community engagement, and housekeeping, following people we support care plans.
- Uphold governance standards by ensuring confidentiality, safeguarding, and adherence to protocols, especially concerning liberty deprivation.
- Report any risks or concerns to the team leader and service manager for necessary action.
- Maintain a consistent, positive focus on the health and wellbeing of the person we support
- Verify compliance with health and safety, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Foster effective communication with staff, both verbally and in writing.
- Be an integral member of a team capable of meeting person we support, carer, and purchaser expectations.
- Enhance skills for professional and person we support meetings participation.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and readily accessible.
- Address the person we support emotional environment and report significant issues as needed.
- Positively represent Encompass to person we support, their families, and the broader community.
- Communicate all relevant issues, concerns, and requirements effectively to the line manager.
- Promote a positive emotional environment through self-awareness and actions.
- Fulfill all mandatory Encompass training and continually improve relevant skills.
- Engage sensitively with person we support, relatives, and colleagues, maintaining respect for diversity.
- Adhere to all Encompass policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of person we support and reporting any potential abuses or risks in accordance with Encompass policy.
