Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals with autism in their homes and in the community, catering to their unique support needs
- Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Work independently as a lone worker, utilizing problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Embrace a flexible schedule with shifts ranging from 9am to 9pm, accommodating both day and evening shifts
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism and mental health
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient approach towards individuals with unique support needs
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for individual caseloads
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shift patterns
