Based in Canary Wharf, London - Riverside Complex is a 60 bedded Lifehouse - accommodation based support service for Women who are homeless in Tower Hamlets and who require support to be resettled into permanent accommodation.
As a motivated person you will deliver a high quality support service which promotes choice and control for the clients and encourage them to make positive life choices to achieve the best possible outcomes. As a Support Worker you will work with the wider staff team to share your skills and expertise demonstrating your understanding willingness and motivation to engage with our clients
In addition, as a Support Worker you will;
- Be required to conduct regular client support plan reviews, completing and updating individual support plans; within contractual timeframes and work with clients to achieve their identified goals in accordance with The Salvation Army policy, including client benefits being maximised and personal payments are made as part of a budget plan.
- Work with colleagues to design and deliver a range of in-house support provisions designed to achieve successful outcomes. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Complete and review client’s assessments including risk assessments, within contractual timeframes, using a person-centred and trauma sensitive approach.
- Have knowledge of the benefits system and an understanding of supported housing funding streams.
