Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Do you have a genuine desire to help improve the lives of vulnerable people living in the community?
If so, we want to hear from you!
We are recruiting for a Male bank Support Workerto support one gentleman who lives in his own home in the Crookston area of Glasgow. This is a lone working role, so we're looking for an experienced individual who is confident in their abilities and has previously supported individuals with autism and challenging behaviour.
We support this gentleman to live the best life possible by providing support with whatever he needs. He does struggle with change, so routine and structure are very important. He is very active in his community and loves going out for walks in the park, going out in the car and enjoying home cooked meals, though he requires support to make healthy meal choices.
Your main goal will be to provide the right support so he can be as independent as possible and is supported to make his own choices. You will also be responsible for ensuring his safety and security overnight.
Your values:
I like people who are reliable and honest, so I can build trust and know that you have my best interests at heart.
It’s important that you can communicate well with me and work well within our team to ensure my routines are maintained.
