Location: West Wirral
Salary: £16.00 to £17.00 per hour, £13.00 per hour training rate
Contract: Permanent Days on a rota basis covering Monday to Sunday, 9 hour shifts between 8am and 8pm

About The Role
Your role will be dedicated to working with a teenager with cerebral palsy, physical disabilities and special needs in their own home. Working to build a professional, working relationship and supporting them with their activities of daily living, in social and leisure activities at home or in the community. To include household chores and shopping, if required

About You
Required (please do not apply if the below criteria is not met)
· Minimum 1 yar current experience
· Patient, understanding and empathetic
· An understanding of special needs and communication
· Experience of working in a support role, providing high levels of care
· Friendly, approachable and confident
· Ability to fully communicate with the client, client’s family, colleague and any other professionals in the wider team
· Flexible in approach to meet the needs of the client
· Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (must be over 25 years old due to client’s vehicle insurance)
· Non smoker
· Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in social care
Desirable
· Experience working with cerebral palsy and complex care needs
· Registered on the DBS update service
