We are looking for Support Workers to join our growing team here at Hft Cheshire - Neston. Experience is not essential as we will provide you with support and training to become a confident Support Worker. Hft is a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. What will you be doing?

· You’ll be supporting 3 Females with Learning Difficulties between the ages of 20-60 in their own home.

· You’ll be involved in supporting them in all activities of daily living as need to help them to live their lives how they want to.

· You will empower them to make decisions for themselves, achieve their own dreams, goals and aspirations.

· You will support them to ensure they are actively involved in their local community. Assist them to make maintain relationships with friends and family and support them to be as independent as possible by assisting them to learn life skills such as cooking and cleaning, managing finances, socialising and support in engaging in meaningful hobbies/activities.

· Experience of working with behaviours that may challenge is preferred however there will be full training provided.

· There is a requirement for manual handling training however this will be provided.

The people you will be supporting would like you to be patient, have the ability to listen, have an outgoing personality but not be too loud. They have also expressed that they would like someone who enjoys Going out and doing activities in the community.

This is your opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives. A full UK driving licence is desirable for this role.Full and part time opportunities available. You will need to have flexibility to work shifts, including sleep in nights, weekends and bank holidays.

  • Working hours – early and late shifts and some weekends.
  • Up to 50% bank holiday allowance**
  • Sleep ins at the service are £51.75 per shift+ 12.07% (holiday pay)
