Overview:
We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. If you have a passion for helping others and possess skills in areas such as hospice care, medication administration, and behavior management, we invite you to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals in various settings
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Implement behavior management strategies as needed
- Support individuals with dementia care needs
- Drive individuals to appointments or outings as required
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses, to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving, hospice care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to individuals of all ages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of home care practices and procedures
- Experience in childcare or working with vulnerable populations is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client support activities
