Support Worker

Pay rate: GBP13.50 per hour (WEEKLY PAY)Shift Pattern: Shifts to be confirmed on interview - Need to be flexible.Requirements: Previous experience supporting people with Autism and mental health diagnoses, and a full UK driver's license This role will be working with a young person with Autism and a mental health diagnosis. She has an adventurous spirit and enjoys cold water swimming in the sea, has a passion for rugby and spending time with her dog. We will provide staff on a 2:1 24/7 basis.If you are patient, empathetic, reliable, flexible, engaging and looking for a role that truly makes a difference to someone else's life then we would like to hear from you.You will need to have the ability to remain positive, on difficult and challenging days.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of daily living and have the ability to help someone build everyday life skills. (Cooking, cleaning, and planning)
• Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities such going to the beach, walking with her dog, and visiting places of interest etc.
• Working to support transition out of a MH hospital and back into own home

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience working with individuals who have Autism and mental health diagnoses.
• An understanding of Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
• A strong and positive attitude and outlook
