Requirements:
- MUST have worked as a carerpreviously in the UK (Preferably atleast 6 monthsexperience)
- Experience working with braininjuries would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience taking patients out into thecommunity
- Full UK drivers license + isMANDATORY to beconsidered for this role, as you are required to drive the clientsautomatic vehicle.
This role willbe supporting an individual with a brain injury and concurrenthealth complications following a road traffic accident.

Our Support Workers cover all manners ofsupport for others – from companionship and days out, to personalcare and housekeeping.
You’ll receive fullypaid, on the job training and you’ll have the opportunity to buildyour skills whilst cultivating a trusted relationship with theperson you support.

Skills,Knowledge andExpertise
You’ll needto:
- Be caring andapproachable
- Hold a Full UK drivers license& have your own vehicle
- Haveexperience/Confidence with the following: Hoists, Manual handling,PEG feeding, Cough Assist Machine & Oral Suction
- Be patient and welcoming
- Be Helpful,reliable & professional
- Bonus points ifyou like pets! The client has two very friendlydogs
- A positive outlook
- Able to help with personal care
- Ableto prepare meals
- Potentially administermedication and Ideally hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) inHealth & Social Care or related topic, or be willing to studytowards this
