As a Young Adults Support Worker, you would be working within a Supported Living environment which provides support for Young Adults who have severe learning disabilities. This fantastic service close to Cambridge provides support for younger adults with profound, multiple learning disabilities providing them Education and the opportunity to gain life skills to live as independantly as possible. You will support with:
- Personal Care needs inc personal hygiene and dressing
- Activities - Shopping trips, leisure activities, hobbies
- Assist with Therapies inc Hydro Therapy, Sensory rooms.
- Support with Music and Art in the Skills centre
- Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
- Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
- Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the Young Adults & your work colleagues.
- Recording information and administration.
