We have an excellent opportunity for a Peripatetic Team Leader to join our incredible Supported Living Team covering Supported Living sites in the Birmingham area.
Role: Peripatetic Team Leader
Pay Rate: £13 Per Hour
Shifts: 40 hours per week
Duties Include
Supporting the management team
Carrying out regular supervisions for staff
Creating rotas and managing team attendance
Supporting the Service users within a Supported Living environment
Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations, and the care & support policies and procedures
Identifying the needs and preferences of each individual and providing a person-cantered approach
Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities.
Accurately report, record, and maintain records as required and work to care plans.
Person Specifications
Full UK Driving Licence - Essential.
Experience within the care industry, ICSs or equivalent
Experience leading a team of support workers in a Supported Living setting.
NVQ level 3 in health and social care is desireable
Experience in a leadership role supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaivours
The ability to multi-task.
Good time management, organization, attention to detail and flexibility.
IT literate.
A positive 'can do' attitude.
Good Communication Skills.
You must have a compassionate, caring, positive personality.
Possess a genuine passion for making a real difference in people's lives.
Able to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
Works well as part of a team as well as individually.
