About Coram Life Education
In 2022, 18% of children aged 7 to 16 years had a probable mental disorder. Coram Life Education & SCARF, the UK’s leading primary PSHE education charity, exists to tackle this issue. We have over 35 years’ experience delivering memorable, engaging Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education – mental wellbeing - workshops. We work with over 2,700 primary schools a year - 1 in 6 - reaching 588,000 children, through our online resource SCARF and high-quality educator-led wellbeing workshops.
SCARF supports over 50,000 teacher subscribers and consists of comprehensive online lessons and tools, meeting the Department for Education’s Relationships, Sex and Health Education requirements.
CLE is part of Coram, the UK’s first children’s charity. We champion children’s rights and wellbeing, and make lives better through legal support, advocacy, adoption and therapeutic, educational and cultural programmes.
About the role
We require a part-time Business Support Administrator to join our small central team, working alongside the full-time Business Support Administrator and management team. Coram Life Education is growing across the UK with a combination of educator workshops, online resources and teacher training. With a head office near Kings Cross in London, the part-time Administrator will help maintain the responsive customer service schools value so highly, and will be a first point of contact dealing with queries, undertaking finance administration and maintaining systems. The role is flexible between Mondays and Fridays and, although being based in our head office is preferred, we will prioritise the appointment of the right person, whether home or office-based. As part of meeting the person specification for the role, you must believe in and uphold an inclusive and empowering Relationships and Sex Education approach, as aligned with our values and commitment to children’s mental wellbeing.
Closing date: Tuesday 23rd January 12:00pm
Interview dates: Wednesday 31st January or Thursday 1st February (via Zoom)
