Are you an experienced Rural agency surveyor looking to embark on a new challenge?
If so, our market leading Rural Agency team are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join their team.
The main aim of this role is to support the established Rural Agency team with the development of rural sales and purchases throughout the UK. Over the past few years the team have worked hard to be instructed on some of the most influential land and estate sales across the UK. Last year alone the majority of our sales sold in excess of budget. An example of such sales are, Land in the Upper Stour Valley in Suffolk aswell as Burrow Hill Farm in Chatteris.
We see the selected candidate being an integral part of the continued growth and success of the Rural agency division. You would work closely with the Rural agency lead and will have an excellent opportunity to develop and grow with us!
This role will be based in Cambridge with adhoc travel to other offices and client sites.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop new agency business with rural landowners across the UK
- Become an integral part of the Rural Agency team
- Establish and maintain key client relationships
- Place advertisements and support with marketing collateral for the sale of specific sites
- Handle queries and ongoing responses with a high level or accuracy and quality
- Liaise with solicitors and finance institutions regarding sales in a professional manner
- Network with internal colleagues to internally promote Rural Agency and advise on agency issues
- Network with rural colleagues to meet landowners and clients that could have prospective agency business in the future
- Work on an existing portfolio of management and professional instructions with the team responsible for those management clients
- Maintain and improve general professional knowledge in relation to managed estates
- Create opportunities for cross-selling and maintain awareness of other divisional services that Bidwells offers
About you:
- Sound knowledge of property and agency marketing
- Professional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels, verbally and in writing
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent track record of client care
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Ability to work independently aswell as part of a team
- Full UK driving license and access to a car
