Surveyor/Senior Surveyor - Commercial Property Management

Multiple of my leading clients are looking to grow their Commercial Property Management teams and open to speaking to anyone with a Commercial surveying background.

MRICS not neccesarily essential.

Key focus of job:

• To take responsibility for the Property Management of a mixed portfolio of properties for a variety of Clients.
• This is a varied portfolio covering all asset classes.
• Looking for a team player who can take ownership of a portfolio and support the team leader in delivering portfolio wide initiatives and projects to ensure a consistent standard of delivery.

Main tasks:

• To take responsibility for and manage the portfolio effectively
• To contribute towards team financial performance targets
• To manage relationships with Clients
• To resolve day-to-day management issues efficiently
• To liaise with Clients, contractors and tenants on a regular basis
• To work closely with the Accounts team in ensuring excellent service is provided to all Clients
• To fully engage in Client meetings as required
• Ensure Client requirements are acted upon efficiently and effectively including client reporting where required
• Support the training and development of junior team members
• To be involved in tenders and presentations with a view to gain an increased Client base
• To continually strive to improve working practices and Client service delivery for the whole team
• Seek to cross sell opportunities to other parts of the business
• Process tenant applications and provide recommendations to the Client
• To provide an all-round best in class approach to Property Management

Technical Skills:

• MRICS qualified – ideal not essential
• Proven experience of Commercial Property Management is essential
• Proven track record in resolution of day to day management issues and in building strong Client relationships
• Demonstrate the ability to make effective presentations to potential Clients
• Computer Literacy, specifically in Microsoft 365 and Tramps
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of Client requirements.

Communication Skills:

• Experienced and capable presenter, both of technical and business matters
• Shows highly developed persuasive skills (oral) Personal Qualities
• Presents a professional image when dealing with Clients and demonstrates self confidence
• Demonstrates ambition and commitment to self-development
• Highly organised
• Manages own time and exercises good commercial judgement to maximise fee earning potential
• Willing to travel based on geographical area covered by the team

• Demonstrates good attention to detail by regularly producing carefully prepared, accurate work
