Consultancy / MEP/ Building Services / Sustainability Engineer / Sustainability Consultant / Building Physics
This role is to join a specialist practice of building services consultants, they cover sectors including healthcare, education, transport infrastructure, heritage ,commercial and hospitality. They provide complex mechanical and electrical solutions with an emphasis on sustainability.
This role would suit a client facing engineer who is looking to work in a collaborative environment, it’s to join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers seeing projects through from inception to handover.
Responsibilities

- Report writing for Planning submissions
- Preparation of thermal modelling/energy assessments
- Project design
- Specifications
Skills and Qualities
- A degree in a relevant subject
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in building services design
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members
- Residential and education projects form a major part of our portfolio and as such a good knowledge of new regulations including Part L and Part O would be preferred together with DFE standards
- Working knowledge of IES Software, Level 5 Energy Assessor and knowledge of SAP10 and Net zero requirements
- Own transport and driving license (desired but not essential)
- Experience of design and modelling software would be beneficial although not essential as full training will be provided.
